THIS EVENT IS NOW CLOSED FOR ENTRIES. PRE-REGISTERED FAMILIES AND RUNNERS RECEIVE TICKETS AND EVENT INFORMATION BY EMAIL ON 30 OCTOBER 2019.

Experience Leyton Jubilee Park at dusk on a 2.5K family trail or a 5K run through its wicked woods and fiendish footpaths, collecting treats and watching out for spooky surprises.

A fun-filled, FREE, and not-so-frightening evening for all the family, Waltham Forest residents are invited to get out for an active Hallowe'en themed evening in the superb surroundings of Leyton Jubilee Park. Fancy dress is encouraged, but as long as you have comfortable shoes for the trail, wear whatever you like!

Beginning at 5.00pm with a 5K race for runners of all ages and abilities - take on this classic distance with a Hallowe'en twist! You'l receive a special souvenir medal, and then be free to take the family trail afterwards, or stay around the evnt hub and enjoy Hallowe'en treats.

Once the moon is high at 5.30pm, the Trick & Treat Trail begins, allowing families to explore the marked and marshalled route through the park's riverside walkway, woodland paths and across the high moonlit plateau. Treats will be there for the discovering with spooky sounds and surprises as you make your way to the fright-free finish line and a hero's medal.

Places are limited, so booking in advance is essential. After booking, you'll receive a confirmation email instantly and final instructions one week before the event. On arrival, you'll need to check in to collect wristbands or 5K race numbers and be ready for your briefing 10 minutes before your scheduled start time.

Minimum age: all ages are welcome, including families with babies and buggies. Please note, those aged 14 years or younger must be accompanied and registered in advance by an adult
