Hadleigh Castle overlooks the Thames estuary from a ridge to the south of the town of Hadleigh. Built in 12.15 during the reign of Henry III The castle is now preserved by English Heritage as a Grade I listed building and scheduled monument. Hadleigh Country Park, which surrounds the castle, is one of the largest country parks in Essex. It takes its name from the nearby Castle
The Hadleigh Castle 10k is part of the Essex 10k Cross Country Series and will take place on the: 10th of August 2013 at 9:30am.
The race will be a chip timed event with results being posted online shortly after the race. Race applications can be made online, via post or on the day in the race village. Unfortunately, the entire course is not suitable for wheel chairs. All entrants are welcome. We have ample car parking, toilets, baggage holding areas, refeshments, massage tent and a drinks stand.
